The building is in a fabulous location, close to all of the best Brooklyn has to offer. It's an affordable housing building, so the value for the area is great. Front desk staff is wonderful, as is maintenance. Change in management iver the past two years has been challenging.

We need better maintenance, general upkeep and cleaning in the building and more support for the staff.

Just love everyone working here, the smiles, the dog friendliness, the speed in which they recover from an elevator going down or responding to maitenence. The views, the location. Best building ever.

I love living at 535 Carlton. Location is amazing and i think i pay a great price for where i am situated. The staff are amazing and like family. The ameneties are decent. I just wish that we had a bigger gym with more equiptment like squat racks or bench press station.

The property is up-to-date and in a desirable location. Overall upkeep suggests that the quality of the building and apartments will steadily decrease over time. Living quality is fair but the building lacks attention to the little things. Communication between tenents and managment is general but major things/issues do seem to get taken care of.

I've lived in this building for a couple of years and been in the neighborhood for about 4 years. The building staff are terrific. The new management have been great at addressing maintenance and upkeep issues and are generally very responsive and communicative with tenants. My building neighbors are friendly and respectful, and I don't have many noise issues with neighboring apartments which, all things considered, is pretty impressive considering I live on a fairly busy floor.
