This property is funded through a Rural Development housing program offering Rental Assistance (when available) to those in need of affordable housing. We give preference to low-income households. However, we are currently able to rent to households at any income level. In addition, we may have Rental Assistance available which allows income based rent to households who income qualify. Please call for current rent rates. Sorry, Section 8 Vouchers are not welcome. A $35 per adult application fee, as well as a $500.00 security deposit are due with the completed application. All adult applicants must pass a criminal and credit check. Knollcrest offers off-street parking at no cost with the option of a garage or secure storage unit for an additional cost. Sitting by the fire pit on our outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. We allow up to two pets per unit with a non-refundable pet fee. There is plenty of green space around the property for dogs to exercise.We are in the process of various updates both in and outside each of the buildings.

Beats Being Homeless

On-site laundry equipment needs updating. The washers are new but the driers don't work very well. In the past, they sat for 2 months or more waiting for parts. Also, when service is required on appliances there have been long waits for service. Perhaps we should stop focusing on the only service company in town and go with whoever can get it done in a timely manner. The same for heating services. Other maintenance issues are handled well. Although it has improved, there is still way too much noise in the hallways. Slamming doors and raised voices.

505 Unumb St Alexandria, MN

Aside from the ongoing problem with apartment 204, which has been somewhat less lately I have few complaints about the building. Greg is wonderful to work with and he does his best to keep things together here. That said, we could use new laundry machines as the current ones don't clean worth a darn and there could be a few more of each. Also, a secure lobby is needed. Anyone can enter the building unchallenged and there have been a few incidents that could have been prevented had there been one. the other properties you own in Alexandria have thme, why not us?
