My stay here has been semi pleasant, while there are numerous advantages and quite a few lovely neighbors, there are some that aren't that pleasant, and lack common courtesy, respect, or decency. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The amount of noise late at night is counterproductive to getting a good night's sleep, but the relative ease of access to downtown Northampton is a boon.

Great place to live, convenient to get just about anywhere. Northampton is an awesome city to live in. Lots of staff turnover here at The Lumber Yard though and maintenance is pretty slow to get things done, sometimes incredibly slow. Only 6 washers and dryers for 55 apts. and they are almost all broken a great percentage of the time. It's a beautiful new building, I've been here since day one for almost 4 years now. Should have staff assigned to keep common areas more clean, security and a maintenance schedule to keep the laundry facilities here up and running properly. That's a management issue they seem to give low priority to. Love the building and most of the neighbors are great people but there could be some improvements if they install the right property manager.
