As soon as I moved in, I began noticing the thoughtfulness that went into the apartment. The Amenities are extensive & well-thought-out, down to the door handles & the light switches. The apartment has a shiny black dishwasher, an ice maker, a disposal, a built-in microwave, & a beautiful stove & oven. The microwave is a "smart" microwave. If you put a cup or dish in the microwave & click on one of the preset times, the cup or dish will return to the front of the microwave, right where you put it, to begin with. I love that since I'm short. Each item is made to be easily reached & made so that you can turn the handle easily or turn it off and on easily. Everything is geared toward senior citizens, which I truly appreciate now that I'm getting older & unable to move about as I did when I first moved in here. Thank You, owner(s), architects, & builders for your thoughtfulness in building the apartment complex. The rent is manageable since it's one-third of my income. There are plenty of stores available close by, although I don't have transportation. However, Rural Transportation is available through Walker County Transit for only $8 round trip nearly anywhere in the county and to Chattanooga, TN for Doctor visits. So far as Community is concerned, I enjoy the few activities we have at the Community Building. However, I think we could have more activities in the Community Building even without the Community Manager there. I believe that would create a sense of comradery among the members of the Community. More suggestions for activities from the Community would also be helpful. Perhaps more clubs and meetings could be established. Suggestions of how members could help one another at the meetings could be helpful. It seems members are staying inside, away from one another, & not bonding as they do need each other at this age. A group of people to make phone calls or visit, to check on each other would be a good idea in a community of this type.

Even though I have only been at this property a short time, I have lived at another property for awhile. Feel safe, well maintained grounds. Staff is excellent!
