My Honest Review

I have lived here for 5 years, among the first occupants at Walton Green Apartments. For the most part, it has been a satisfactory experience and that is hard to achieve on the management's part. There have been occasional loud noises caused by children which I thought at first that only seniors 55 and up could live here. (The exception cannot be explained here.) At one time some loud adults would congregate under the gazebo but now it is quiet. Maintenance requests are handled quickly. Cleanliness could be better in the hallways. I suppose it is difficult to keep clean due to foot traffic. Landscaping upkeep is great. Activities are fun and expanding all the time. The main reasons I renew my lease each year are: gated community and location, location, location.

Nice

Units aren't built to separate noise from other units attached. Need storage closets within units. Need garbage shoot on each end of hallway.

Really need apartments! But that second hand smoke will kill

I'm not being mean! I'm just being honest! I have lived here for two and a half years on a fixed income. I have complained, sent emails to the landlords for at least 2 years about the second hand smoke coming into my unit constantly day and night. Have you ever been underwater trying to breathe without any assistance. Talking with the landlords they only gaslight you! THEY all will look you straight in the eyes and tell you no one is smoking here in the community. All while you're gasping for breath. They'll say maybe it's your oven! Maybe you smelling something from the outside! They know who the smokers are here that's not leaving their apartment unit but they make me out to be the villain because I'm unable to take the cigarette smoke. and unable to move out at this point and time of my life. Yet they have the audacity to tell me you can leave. When no one is supposed to be smoking within 25 ft of community you have people day and night smoking inside their units therefore all the ventilation system are all together so you're smelling their garbage you smelling their cigarette smoke. Word to the wise if you are living in a chicken coop you're better off doing what you can to improvise because no one in these apartment units are looking out for you trust me!!! They're only looking out for themselves bringing in dollars for others while you're dying....
