I moved in to Lewis Court in September 2017 and love living here. Of course, like many affordable communities, there have been a few issues, mainly with a few of the residents and the management staff turnover (7 in less than 7 years). Golden is growing and has lost some it's original charm and safety but it is still a nice place to live.

The lack of consistent Management is very Negative. There needs to be more presence of Management and Standard Enforcement of the rules for All Residents

I have lived here since September 2017 and I enjoy living in this community. We've had our share of issues over the years, however, the staff and resident issues resolved themselves. I have met and befriended several residents over the years. All in all, I am happy and hope that I can stay here until I need to move on.

This is a gorgeous community and i say community versus apartment building, as for the most part, neighbors are friendly and have a sense of community. The garden is great as well as the small park-gorgeous. An abundance of rabbits, squirrels, and even hawks. Maintenance is prompt too. Downside. Two rules are rediculous here. One is petty which i won't even discuss here. The other is regarding CBD. The Federal government considers CBD such as Charlotte's Web products to meet their criteria as legal. Also, CBD is legal in Colorado. If it's prescribed by your doctor Housing Authority should have no say in the matter unless you are smoking CBD indoors, such as near the air vents which circulate throughout the building, and that I can understand as some residents can be allergic. That could be resolved by having CBD smokers go outside to cigarette area. Other than that, it's prescribed by a physician and some folks cannot or choose not to take allopathic pain meds. People are in pain and some have no other options! Other than this, I love it here!!!
