Well over market value for a location without amenities

Although the apartments themselves are spacious and offer in unit washer and dryer with large kitchens, the fixtures and materials used throughout are low-grade construction. The building itself offers no common room, parcel room, workout room or clubhouse. The underground parking is the only true benefit, however this is a common offer at most complexes in the same price range. I lived their for 4 years and had 3 different property managers but they all seemed to be very good at what they do and were helpful and responsive. Vehicles were broken into/vandalized multiple times in the parking garage and after a lengthy process, some cameras at the main door entrances were added along with tamper-proof locks, however no cameras were added at the side entrances or the garages. If I would have agreed to all the initial price increases while I lived there, my rent for a 1 bedroom with no pets would’ve gone from 1075 to Just below 1200 in 4 years with initial renewals being 25-35 before negotiating. All things considered, it was a positive experience at move-in and move-out and I enjoyed the apartment itself. What drove me to move was price compared to offerings and a surrounding location that has nothing in walking distance whatsoever. My two cents would be that there are many other options in this price range that offer more for what you pay.
