Poor management
Ever since Ravinia was bought by the Solomon Group, management has been very disconnected and hard to reach. people on site appear to no nothing about what is going on and are very unhelpful. I had a package delivered that Fedex decided to drop off at the club house (not managements fault), but when I asked management for help they told me they had already sent the package back. nobody even tried to contact me regarding the package. I also suspect that they didn.t send it back because when I contacted the company I ordered from, they said they had no record of it being returned.
Nice place
So far it's been pretty good . I love having a garage space for parking especially in the winter. Nice apartment all around .
Everything has been okay
The transition from switching from one property owner to the next was not a great experience. The rent has gone up to much in the past two years which will cause me to leave once my lease is up.
Changes with ownership
Challenges with timeliness of maintenance doing repairs since new ownership. Takes weeks to months for things to get fixed and then it's not done well.
Awesome place to live for families!
I have lived here for about 6 months and have had an incredible experience. I love the fact that this community is kept up meticulously! It always feels great to drive in and see the beautiful scenery and the thoughtful plants. The grounds are kept very clean and neighbors clean up after their dogs. From my upper apartment, we get to enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets. I am appreciative of the amazing staff. In the office, the manager Beth always responds very quickly and is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Maintenance service had a bit of a wait when we first moved in, but additional maintenance personnel were hired. They are very thorough with checking and maintaining the apartment without being invasive. My son loves living here and we feel right at home. The only thing that I wish is that they had "community" events. I think it would help facilitate more positive neighborly interactions. I can honestly say almost every resident I have interacted with has been extremely kind. I also appreciate how peaceful and calm it has been. I sleep extremely well at night. I love the variety of apartment floorplans offered. I also love that it comes with a garage, a beautiful sparking pool, and a 24-hour workout center. My family and I plan to stay here until we save our down payment to buy a house because Ravinia Apartments feels like home. It is really close to the Loomis expressway entry, which means you can get almost anywhere in 15 minutes! The most recent addition to our apartment was a feature hooked up to the stove that is set to turn off if there is a fire. My family is extremely important to me, so the fact that they have fire extinguishers and pull levers and the emergency stove shut-off system in every apartment provides an extra layer of protection for us. The biggest benefit is its proximity to my son's school! Greenfield has a great school system! I love living at Ravinia for many reasons, and hope to be here for a few years!
