First Apartment

I've lived here about 2 weeks, and I do quite enjoy the area. It is my first move, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but having lived with family my whole life, this is a nice change of pace. It was a little outside my price range, but I have counted the cost worth it for the experience of having my own place. I have found that the amount of space I have for the cost of rent is actually really great. I do with utilities were included, but it does make me more conscious of my energy use (I guess I am becoming my dad "turn off the lights!"). One major complaint I have is with the parking, as I was under the assumption - and told so - that a parking space was included. My lease specified a parking spot and didn't have an amount it would incur, but I was told on the day of the move that all parking spaces are additional. The amount of us that are parking in visitor and on the street is a bit absurd for the amount of available numbered spaces there are. If anything, I wish it wasn't so expensive. 40-120 is a lot to pay a month for parking, and even parking that might not even be close to where you live. Besides that, I really appreciate the greenery, the pathways are really nice to walk through, I really appreciate the park, the pool, and the layout of the space, as it doesn't feel distinctly urban or crowded. The garbage and recycle is conveniently located, and I really really REALLY appreciate the storage on the patio! I am happy to be here and I look forward to adding to and being a part of this community!

Very welcoming community. Looks well taken care of.

Looks nice, it's quite and has good amenities. The neighborhood seems pretty friendly. Seems like a good place to settle down for a bit
