dont rent here

Things are constantly breaking - this is an old unit that has been poorly kept up. They are not proactive about making sure things are good and instead will slowly fix as they break so you can enjoy being the bearer of these things when you rent here. No onsite manager or maintenance so if something happens, especially on the weekend, you will have no recourse. They tried to bump my rent 10%+ on renewal.

Good evening, Our lease is up on the 31st of August. I have a questions about the rent if we were to stay and renew for another year? Would the rent stay the same? Curious as to what is going on with the company. Since over the past year we have paid out in full and on time. Especially after this past year. We would like to stay at the current location if rent would stay the same. Even thought our neighbors down stairs have brought us pretty close to throwing in the towel.
