Love this apartment

We've been living her for 2 years. We had 2 minor maintenance request and we got responses promptly. Love this location. It's safe (close to Bothell city hall, police station and fire station). It's convenient (close to I-405, Bothell Park and Ride, and Bothell library. And has easy access to good restaurants and bars). Friendly and responsive management team. One cons for this apartment is they only have a few a bigger units.

Great apartment to live

We've been living in the Merc for 2 full years. Great location! Close to many restaurants and bars on Main street. Also, within a few minutes, you can walk to a dog park (only open in the summer) and Sammamish River Trail. The trail, the bridge, and the river view are the best! Right by the Bothell park and ride and I-405. Good amount of street parking. Great management team. They are friendly and responsive. Clean and modern amenities.

Lots to be desired with staff

They don't take lease violations seriously. There's a full page addendum outlining non-smoking policy yet my apartment smells like a dispensary every single night. The lease manager lives on my side of the building and did nothing to address this until it started affecting her. Even then, I was told an email would go out remind residents of the policy- it was never sent. Then was told they'd leave notes on people's doors about the policy but my door was the only one to get it & it was addressed to me.. so clearly not given to other residents. Also problems with dogs on the roof & communal spaces although against regulations. I'm very allergic and when furniture is caked with fur it makes it difficult for me to enjoy the amenities I should be able to if others were following directions. I also am responsible (all res) for the electric payments of all communal spaces and it is a bummer to be forced out. Lastly a neighbor has been letting their dog poop all over their patio for the past week. They said they needed to verify the apt before they could act but nothing had changed & more feces piled up. I emailed another updated at they replied about "continued vigilance," and that I needed to stop reaching out (it was my second follow up after the first wasn't responded to). I just want to be able to enjoy the space I pay for, and open my windows in the evening without getting hot boxed. Since the manager lives here and close to me it's easier to assume the problem doesn't concern her bc she is or is protecting the problem

Great location!
