Beware of remodeling

The property is currently undergoing major renovations. Its understandable given the age of the building but its by no means an old property. The issue isn’t the remodel, the issue is the lack of communication from the property management and the overall disorganization of the remodeling process. The construction projects are not fully complete befoee they move to their next project. Property management tyipcally communicates after the residents gave been severely inconvenienced by whatever the construction team is doing. For instance, on 11.1.23 we were informed the gym would be cloaed until AT LEAST 1.1.24. There’s no alternative option available at the moment. So, not only were we given ZERO advance notice to make other arrangements but the property has made no alternative interim gym options. The elevators are always broken, the community room has been closed for months, the gym is now closed, the entrance to the garage is at best a never ending game of chicken with only one lane operational. At the very least some sort of rent concession should be in place since we are unable to use the amenities people most want to use. I’m not at all optimistic about the future here and I wish someone would have disclosed what was about to occur prior to my move in. I’ve been here for a year and the remodel was already in full swing. It seems they are at least 3-4 months from being somewhat done. Signed- A concerned resident!

New tenant, less than a month

I moved in 15 August 2023, so I've been here less than a month. I don't expect the items annotated on my move in check list to be fixed immediately, however when I mention something high priority like washing machine or stove, I would think that jumps to the top of a list. Also I mentioned when I first toured the property that I won't be bringing pets. It is annotated in my Lease that I do not have pets. However in the charges for my monthly rent, there is a non refundable pet fee added. How? On a positive note, every time I spoke with a member of the staff they have been very courteous, to include the life guard. My apartments exceeds my expectations with the amount of space I have, and the floors have definitely been tested and are pretty much scratch proof. Aside from the couple concerns I have, that hopefully are corrected sooner than later, the apartment and it's location from my job are outstanding. When mentioning these apartments to future occupants, I will be honest and upfront about the bad and good aspects.

Good apartment with Major issues

Too much noise from outside and HVAC motor is not being replaced. Dry air in the house is making us sick due to pess humidity
