I love living here!! The only complaint I have is I think my apartment specifically when it was built was kind of sloppy. It's a ADA apartment and I am not handicapped but if I was I think I'd really struggle in this apartment.

The building is beautiful and has several great amenities that are well maintained and useful, including working spaces, outdoor courtyards, a pool, and a well-stocked gym. However, following transfer to new property management (Greystar) there has been a consistent erosion of quality of care, particularly when it comes to building repairs (the side door remained broken for months), transparency (including around rent hikes and increased utility bills), and staffing (the old concierge staff was replaced with newer hires who are less friendly).

When my rent came up for renewal, they increased it by 7%, which is more than twice the rate of inflation and does not reflect the changing economic realities of the DMV. The property was sold at the beginning of the year and the management hasn't found its footing yet. They canceled the cleaning service that was available previously. Everyone was friendlier and more available with the prior management. Only rent here if a) you expect your rents to go up unreasonably and b) you like bad service.
