Overall, my experience has been positive. The community offers a peaceful and scenic environment, with beautiful views of the marsh and river that make coming home feel like a retreat especially on the weekends. The amenities are well-maintained especially the pool, fitness center, which add a lot of value to daily life. The staff has been great all while being responsive and courteous. Any maintenance requests I've submitted were handled in a timely manner, and the leasing office has been more than helpful with questions and concerns. I also appreciated the move-in promotions, which made the transition smoother. The location is convenient, with easy access to downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and nearby shopping and dining options. It strikes a nice balance between being tucked away in nature and still close to everything. I’d recommend Cooper River Farms to anyone looking for a good place to live in Charleston. That said, there are a few things worth considering: • Pricing: Rent has been on the higher side in recent years affecting value, though that’s consistent with national trends. It’s something to factor in when budgeting. • Noise Levels: Sound insulation could be improved. The buildings appear to be constructed primarily with wood, which is common in South Carolina but does lead to more noticeable noise between units. • Appliances: Some of the in-unit appliances are showing their age and could benefit from upgrades to match the overall quality of the property. • Amenities Maintenance: Areas like the BBQ station could use a little TLC. Regular upkeep would go a long way in keeping these shared spaces inviting. • Clubhouse Access: While the clubhouse itself is a great feature, the lounge area, where beverages are available is only accessible during office hours. Extending access could enhance the resident experience. Despite these points, I’d highly recommend Cooper River Farms.
