I'm a former New Yorker. As I tell my friends back home, living in the Providence G is like living in Tribeca at half of the price with none of the sacrifices, and half of the maddening NYC crowds. Plus, there is a gym, laundry facilities and ease of access to the best of Providence. You can't beat the value. Living blocks from the best restaurants in Providence, not to mention three in the building, is incredible. In addition, the best of Providence; the river, kayaking during the summer, the food trucks, flea market, shopping within a 15 minute walk also a plus.

Considering the fact there is a bar downstairs it gets pretty loud outside on the weekends and you can hear anyone talking on the road. I once woke up to a lady screaming and crying from the road. The laundry is in the building and shared with the tent ants which is annoying when people forget their clothes in the machine. There is always a washer that is out of order and no one will fix it I’m not sure why. Also not sure why we don’t have thermostats that tell us the temperature in our apartments, like I just have to guess how hot or cold my place is based on the status of my coconut oil. Solid = freezing , liquid= hot

My daughter and her two college roommates are so incredibly happy at Prov G. The apartment is beautiful, the building is secure, the staff is wonderful, the location is perfect and the residents are quiet, respect and friendly. Could not be a better experience!

Parking should be complementary. If not complementary, it should be 50% off for residents. It is inconvenient having to find parking and park on the streets. There is no real noise from the building itself but neighboring building has been doing construction work at the earliest hour which is not ideal. Other than that, everything is great. Staff is friendly and welcoming, maintenance requests are satisfied next day if not the same day. The building is in heart of downtown, so it's walking distance to everything you can think of. There is a rooftop bar, Gpub(best sports bar in Providence) in the building. Oh and to one more thing, the windows don't open in the building.
