Absentee Management

Management is based offsite, so they are minimally responsive. Small things go wrong and are left unattended, or large things go wrong and take weeks to be fixed. A couple of years ago, a shed was broken into on property, which had keys to all apartments and mailboxes in it. All the apartments were re-keyed in a matter of days, but the mailbox keys still have not been changed over two years later. You have to hound management about any maintenance issues in your apartment. Maintenance guy doesn't listen and does the bare minimum. All that said, it's a small complex and quiet for the most part. If you're low-maintenance, you should be fine.
