Lancaster Commons ok to live at

I have lived here for 12 plus years & while the parking has always been atrocious it has gotten worse. Management has tried to keep up with the overall maintenance (the recent remodel has helped) the apartments are seeing their age. Frequent dogs barking continually & since manager can't verify which apartment it's coming from (or the barking happens at night when managers aren't working) is a nuisance. The maintenance staff has always been top notch, with a fairly speedy response time to the actual resolve of the issue. While the rent is high, apartment rent is horrendous everywhere ( just a sign of the times). Another issue I have is the garbage compacter is too small to handle all the garbage from so many apartments. On the weekends the trash bags will be overflowing the garbage area & is really disgusting. Not a sight I want to arrive home to.

Lancaster Commons review

parking is a big issue for me. I see people parked in illegal areas ALL the time. When I did that 1 time, my car was towed. Sometimes they park in the fire lane right behind my parking spot & it's extremely difficult to get out. Also the rent keeps going up & up and the apartments are getting very run down. The garbage compacter is not sufficient for all residents & by sat or sun it's completely overrun with people just dumping their trash there because there's no room inside the compacter. On a positive note, the staff in the last couple of years are awesome. Easy to talk to & very professional. Maintenance staff gets a big kudos for always fixing my issue in a timely manner.
