MAIN ISSUE: SERIOUS HVAC (AC) PROBLEMS & TRASH OVERFLOWS EVERY SINGLE WEEK (see pics) So we've learned that Ella has had HVAC issues for years. You will likely not have consistently cool AC and might even, like us, have many miserable hot nights where your apartment bakes you at over 80 degrees (at night!). If you cook or use your dryer, guaranteed your apt will shoot over 80 degrees. We've heard from staff here that over 25 units are currently affected but they believe its more than that. I contacted Area Manager at Corporate and her response was essentially, we're doing our best, we may not have a fix any time soon, all units may be affected and no, we will not compensate anybody. Thus far they've set up portable AC units (see pics) that unfortunately blast us with tons of pollen & smelly air from the outside. But our 2nd bedroom received no portable AC and remains hot all the time (we have a 2/2). Due to the nature of portable AC's being inefficient, our electric bill has shot up and as they have no filters we're often awoken unable to breathe as pollen and pollutants from cars, etc fills out apt. PROS: Gym is there Neighborhood is quiet, safe & walkway along river is beautiful. Garaged Parking Option (tho pricey $275 per spot & been some break ins & broken windows. ALSO, EV spots share chargers as there's not enough of them.) CONS: - HVAC system is a mess. DOZENS of units do not currently have AC. - Gym needs more equipment, better lighting. - Rooftop needs love: beautiful views but no shade/protection from elements & no cushions for seating. - Lobby NEEDS FREE INTERNET!! Very Weak Cell Signal in Gym or Package Room & you need it to retrieve packages. - Pricey Parking ($275 EV spot but MUST SHARE EV charger as there are enough of them so not reliable 4 nightly charging! - Pricey Fees are added to your rent (~$300/mo) for

I really enjoy living at Ella. Great location, coffee, and shops. Walking path close by and it feels safe. Management and staff are very helpful. Glad I chose Ella for my new residence.
