Renters Beware

Lived here for 3 years and I feel compelled to give future tenants a real idea of what to expect. There is no onsite management. Tenants smoke in their units and it will make yours reek cigarettes too. Expect your water to be shut off weekly for "maintenance and repairs", and when it's turned back on it is either brown or cloudy, sometimes for days. Many tenants have dogs who bark for hours on end (think about not being able to close your door or flush your toilet without hours of barking to follow). Noise complaints are seldom taken seriously unless you CC the property managers boss. Lack of insulation leads to extreme indoor temperatures in the summers and electric bills of $120+ for a 400sqft space. I had to fall through my rotting deck before the issue was taken seriously .. yes I am serious. Not all buildings are created equal on this property, there are tenants who LOVE living here and I wish I was one of them, but please do your research before deciding to call this place your "home".

Brooklyn Apartments

I have lived here for over 30 years. The location was great with the schools when my kids were growing up. Grocery stores with in minutes. A park a couple blocks away and access to I -5 is just across the Ross Island bridge.

Quiet neighborhood

I have lived here a long time. Close to schools, freeways and grocery stores. It is a quiet neighborhood. For some of us long term tenants it is alarming that the new owners will be relocating us to upgrade and charge double the amount of rent. No wonder there are so many homeless families here in the Portland area. Rent increases are ridiculous high.

Non smoking property

It would be better if it was a non smoking property. Having to walk by to check the mail and smell cigarettes and weed makes me ill. I cannot open the windows without having the smell of the cigarette smoke get in the apartment. When it is to cold or rainy outside I smell the smoke in the downstairs bathroom coming from the vent. It really stinks.
