Decent Apartments Terrible Parking

The apartment itself is decent. The units are clean, well maintained, and fairly quiet. Maintenance requests are handled in a reasonable amount of time, and the location is convenient for shopping and commuting. It’s also pet friendly, which is a big plus if you have a dog or cat. The biggest downside is the parking. It’s extremely limited, poorly managed, and the spaces are small. Visitors have almost no options, and towing seems to happen often. If you rely on your car daily, this can be a real headache. Overall, it’s a decent place to live, especially if you have pets, but the parking can be a daily source of frustration.

Some issues

I've lived here for a little under 6mo, the application and move in were good. The bad thing about the application is that it's literally 80 pages with everything online and in the office. The units are older and fairly well maintained, maintenance always seems to busy. The area is nice, and the property is well maintained by a landscaping company. Now for some of the bad things. Most of the staff seems to work hard to make this a nice place, but there seems to be someone more interested in trying to be in charge than to listen to the residents. Since I've been here I've already received several letters that appeared to be sent to all the residents, threatening things like towing and fines. A few weeks after I moved in they changed the parking policy, making the 24hr visitor parking 4hr, and threatening to tow any residents that park there, even though my lease that I signed said cars could be parked there they just need to be moved every 24hrs. I have complained multiple times, and they have ignored me, I have seen other complaints about the new parking policy and they ignore that part of the review as well. The managers said they have "partnered" with 21st Century Towing, the second worst reviewed company in the area, with some serious complaints of pulling weapons on people and towing cars that they admitted shouldn't have been towed. A few days ago early in the morning light started shinning through my apt. windows, it was one of their trucks driving around shinning a light in cars and at apartments. I few minutes later a saw him prowling around cars looking inside, when he saw me he got back in his truck. The management team has some obsession with this tow company. The also advertise free garages with all apartments, which they do not provide, it wasn't until I was moving in that they said I didn't get one. They advertise 24hr fitness center, it's not. They use BILT for their billing service, which charges a fee, and wants access to all your bank acct info.

Good First Apartment

This was my first apartment out of university and so far it has lived up to my expectations. I appreciate how quickly maintenance gets back to us and how helpful staff is at the leasing office. The space is relatively clean and the pool is great. I wish that there was more parking available both for visitors and for ourselves, as our parking spot is pretty far from our apartment.

Very nice place

Apartments are very clean and well maintained. Having a single car attached garage is great. Any other the parking is a problem and visitor parking is extremely limited or non existent.

Living at SOFI

I have been living here for over a decade, the location and services offered are great, any issues are quickly resolved, the personnel are always helpful, Do wish there was more parking available, for friends and other residents to park. Overall I feel I have a good place to live at and will stay here as long as the rent stays user friendly, Thank you all.
