Maintenance cant keep up with issues. Tickets are staying long opened and are closed automatically without it being resolved. And they have the audacity of increasing rent when the rental market is dropping significantly.

The rent for residents who moved in after 2022 is astronomically high for the value you're getting. Paying condo prices with no amenities to warrant the cost. Poorly vetted residents who smoke, are noisy and hoard in shared garages. Older women residents with little dogs who bark constantly and act as if the propertly is their private home with no respect for other residents. The units are older, even newly renovated ones are still over-priced. No gym or barbeques, pool, etc. to warrant the high prices for one-bedroom units. Leaside is a great neighbourhood but you shouldn't be charging this much for a location so far off of the subway line and downtown. Scott, property manger does it best and is working hard but you are signficantly understaffed for a property of this size. Windows don't get cleaned on the exterior yearly, cracks in the brick on the exterior of garages and apartments, old windows that are poorly insulated, air conditioning is abhorrently bad, eaves uncleaned, fire escapes old and cracking, the list goes on. If you're going to leave your property in this state, you can't charge what you're charging.

I have to do my own maintenance if I need some work done effectively and timely. The worst.

It's apparent that the property is understaffed. One person can only do so much. There is a lot of discussion amongst the tenants regarding the time that it takes to get requests completed. Scott is a very kind and straight forward individual, I like him and he clearly has great work ethic, but the property is too large and has too many repairs for one person to handle by themselves. If you added another staff member to the property management/maintenance team you'd likely get better reviews. Thanks!
