105 Galloway Rd

As someone who relies on public transit, I really enjoyed my time living here. It's about a 10 minute walk to Guildwood Go, and the closest major intersection (~7 minute walk) has express buses and I could easily get to Kennedy Station or UTSC. In terms of the unit itself, it was very considerately built. Pretty much everything was slow close so if you're sensitive to noise that's nice; there is in unit laundry; a compact dishwasher; the forced air A/C and heat units are solid and insulation in the the unit is great. A couple things I would flag is that the bathroom is small, there isnt a whole bunch of built-in storage and there aren't any coaxial or ethernet inputs. The small bathroom worked for me, but because the sink is guest bathroom sized its hard to keep bulk items on top. There isn't a bunch of built in storage thats easy to access as a short person and so I struggled to keep as much kitchenware as I'd like to have. Finally, there aren't any coaxial or ethernet outlets and so I had to rely on my data, and later, this one service provided by Rogers, for Internet, which wasn't great Internet and was expensive for what it was. Overall, I liked living here a lot and I'd recommend it if you can get a fair cost for rent. I didn't have to contact maintenance much but they're solid people.
