Been at the apartment foe 10+ years; havw seen it gone through multiple seasons and different companies. The new gentlemen that has been there for a bit now. Is the best resident manager i have had in awhile.

100 Eighth Ave Flats

There are serious issues with air penetration and air drift in the building. Despite numerous requests and complaints to management, there has been no response to resolve these concerns. The building envelope is outdated and consists of single-pane windows, which causes ice formation inside the apartments. As the ice melts, it leads to the growth of black mold. These conditions pose significant health hazards to the residents.

Living here since 3 years. Management is not helpful. reported a complaint of gym years ago its still not fixed.

Difficult to recommend

I'm disappointed to write this, as my initial impressions weren't bad. Maintenance has been poor, communication about recurring issues has been non-existent. Property manager Conner seems to have little respect for tenants based upon limited email communication regarding issues his team refuses to fix despite requiring to do so to meet legal property standards. Staff have been mixed, some good (the maintenance and cleaning staff around 2021-22ish was quite nice) but some have been rude and disrespectful. It seems the team has little respect for dealing with something as sensitive, personal, and intimate as people's *homes.* Maybe I'm overly sentimental, but this type of work ought to be grounded in a calling for treating people with dignity when providing them housing. This isn't like selling coffee or cars--you are making a home. Overall, there is some value in Ridgeway, but it is hard to recommend this place to others after these difficult experiences.
