The service here especially on weekends is not very good. Communication of any type is posters in the elevator.

My wife and I have been living in our unit going on 11 years. During that time, whenever we required any maintenance it always took place within a reasonable time and taken care of professionally. Recently we had to have a dishwasher replaced and I was told it would arrive and 3 days and it did arrive on time and was installed within the 3 days. I telephoned the office and told them how please were where and that the installers were very professional and tidy. I want all the staff at Williams Court in Kanata to now that I have no hesitancy to let anyone who asked, that my wife and I could not be more pleased living here. All the staff treat us with respect and kindness and the trades people they hire are also very professional and tidy. We have never regretted moving here.

Would rate living at Williams Court higher except the cleanliness of the building is going downhill. The hallway carpets, parking lobby carpets and main entrance carpets are filthy and annual cleaning does little to improve things. Elevator moving pads are not removed between moves so everyone is subject to the constant presence of elevator pads instead of a nice wood finished elevator. The building landscaping has deteriorated to the point of being dirt with old torn landscaping fabric sticking out. Williams Court could be so much more with better care.

Although the units are spacious and provide all functionality, they are getting old and need maintenance. I believe the repairs have remained outstanding for years and now they are surfacing..too much work to be done now so the workload may seem overwhelming for some resident managers, and to address the overload, qualified technician maintenance workers are needed in greater numbers to address specific issues . Otherwise, the location of the units is excellent, close to shopping, access to the highway and services in the neighbourhood. The admin staff are friendly and helpful. The rental costs are competitive. The complex is great!

Very happy with my unit. Living on ground floor I get a lot of cigarette butts falling down on my patio furniture etc even though this is a no smoking building. Many smokers stand adjacent to my patio to smoke meaning I have to go indoors. Thus is my only complaint since living here over 10 years. Mu understanding is that smokers have to go to city property to smoke. I have asked that silage be introduced at entrance ways but unless the tenants read their lease they believe they can smoke any where outside.
