Living here has been extremely pleasant. The location is in an affordable area, but isn't too far from the downtown area or the lake. Staff has always been responsive and quick to fix any issues. The building has dated charms like glass doorknobs and all wooden doors, but be aware that the floors and ceilings are thin and creaky. You will definitely hear your upstairs neighbors.

Don't do a good job of maintaining the area. Rent keeps increasing as the value gets worse. Common areas are a mess and are never cleaned. Trash overflows the dumpsters and spreads throughout the area. In the 3 years I've lived here they haven't washed the windows once. The laundry is expensive and always takes at least two runs in the dryer to dry. They said the parking lot would be done in a few months and it's going on two years (it's closed and all rocks). A $12 a month liability waiver was added to my lease even though I have renters insurance and showed proof of it. Never got a clear answer on that. Would not recommend living here.
