Non Trustworthy Management

We have been renting here for a total of 2 weeks and have had the following issues: - No hot water the first 24 hours - Obsessively leaky tub - Several less than impressive patch jobs on the floor - And STILL no washer and dryer I was told by maintenance (would like to clarify I have no issues with maintenance staff and they have all been pleasant) that a washer and dryer would be moved from one unit to ours same day and then later I was told that it was going to be ordered but 2 weeks and still nothing. New construction but no garbage disposal. Our last apartment built in the 1960's had one so not sure why these don't. The office manager is nice and has been helpful where he can be but only so much is under his control. Also the only ADA accessible entrance is in the back by the dumpster. Not illegal but there should have been a ramp at the front entrance so people with disabilities can feel included too. Elevators stink. It is in a prime location so being close to everything is the primary reason to consider living here. The trains run very frequently directly next to the apartment which I do like as its not too distracting and is almost like white noise. There is no buzz in system like other complexes so you have to retrieve your guests every time they visit which if you live on a higher floor can be annoying. Overall until they can make the washer/dryer situation right I'm not incredibly impressed. UPDATE: I had a phone call with the property manager on the 11th. I was offered 50$ and a gift card to remove the post and I mentioned that I was offended by the offer. During the phone call she explains that they changed vendors and as a result could not get me a washer and dryer until the following Monday. She then says that the office manager did not inform her of the issue. She was empathetic initially and offered to prorate my rent for 7 days which is better but I went a total of 2 weeks without a washer and dryer. Rest of review is on google review

Nice first impression

I moved from a very hot area to Dayton. I was eager to experience downtown. The 503 seems to fit the bill. It is still under construction, so I am waiting to use the fitness area and green space. The apartment is comfortable. The on site resources are just great. Melvin has been excellent. So far, I am pleased with my move
