Good but...

All in all the living situation is good. The location is great and I have enjoyed my time living downtown in these apartments. However, there are some annoyances. The lack of in unit washers and dryers makes the laundry situation quite a nuisance. For months on end (over half of the year) the washer on my level was out of order and required hauling laundry up or down a floor in hopes that the machines will be available. The parking situation is abysmal, I currently pay for a dual car spot and have held out from obtaining a second car because my single car (small sedan) doesn't fit in my spot. The cars that park on either side of me park so close that each day there are new door dings on the side of my car and often times there is not enough space between the cars to even attempt opening the door and squeezing in. I pay $265 a month in parking and often I am unable to access my car or spot. At the current rent price I do believe that we are slightly overpaying for the experience that we have living here and if rent were to go up again year over year as it has every year since i've started living here, we will be looking for another place to stay.

Apartment review

This building is beautoful overall NO complaints except for the parking and having to go downstairs from whatever floor you live on to let people in! I was on the fifth floor. Other than that, EVERYTHING was wonderful. The parking was a little hectic, especially if you have a wider/bigger car. Carrying groceries was even more hectic lol because you have to go up the stairs from the garage and make it to the elevator. The location is wonderful and always something to see/do! My apartment was BEAUTIFUL. It was so modern and clean. I loved the style and uniqueness of the layout! The high ceilings are to DIE for!! Thats my favorite part lol. The security doors are wonderful i felt 100% safe coming in from work and knowing theres two security doors that won’t open unless you have the fob to unlock them. Also in the gagrage as well, you use your key fob so all around security is wonderful. The women in office were wonderful and always kind! They helped me with everything i needed/asked about.

Not the worst

The washing machine on my floor has been broken for months, and i've had trouble with receiving timely maintenance. You can't buzz guests into the building so you have to come down from whatever floor your located on in order to let people in. Also the windows in my unit are sealed shut, so no fresh air. Also worth noting that new management has taken over the building and rents are increasing, though still in-line with pricing common for downtown. On the upside, the building is surprisingly quiet (i thought there would be much more noise living above the valet stand on e4th), and *most* of the other tenants in the building are pretty respectful of the level of noise they create late at night. I love the space; its small and slightly outdated but has high ceilings, exposed beams, and big beautiful windows. I was lucky enough to get a parking spot in the lot that is located under the building which also felt very convenient. Really perfect for a single young professional or possibly a couple. Overall I've enjoyed living here for 2 years because of the location, but look forward to moving somewhere with better amenities.
