Repairs
I have been without a shower in the main bedroom for a month now. I pur in a maintenance request because the Fossett for the shower was not working. They took the faucet completely out and told me they will repair it in a couple of days. It has now been four weeks. Well since that report I have had the ceiling leaking from the apartment upstairs from me. This is the third time this is happened and each time they never really fix it. They just put a Band-Aid on the problem. There have been three different tenants living above me since I’ve been here at each time a new one move then I get a leak. I pay nearly $2000 a month for an apartment that is not even worth half that amount of money. I am going to put my rent into escrow until all the repairs have been completed. I cannot get out of this complex fast enough. I put in a phone call to find out when the repairs will be done. No one ever returned your phone calls especially if there’s work to be done. But if I miss a rent payment, they are all on it.

Its been a journey
When I moved in, the complex suffered from management challenges and personnel changes. Previous management companies we not willing to keep the property in good condition. The current management company invested heavily in property updates and competent managers and now the property is competitive and provides reasonable value (at my current rental rate) for the area.
