Mr. Renie and the staff are amazing. The gym is need of reapir. Needs replacement mats. A treadmill looks ok but once on it can not detect a user and can turn off, which is problematic.

I am mostly happy with One East Harlem. The staff are very nice, and apartment is nice. I would rather the community space have a playroom for kids under 12 vs. an adult game room that is always locked. I would also like for the building to support more community connections with building sponsored events, or a communication board, or other ways for neighbors to connect.

I’m thrilled with my new apartment so far! The unit itself is beautiful and boasts an amazing view of the city—watching the sunset here is truly top-tier. The hallways are spotless and well-maintained, with no unpleasant smells or trash in sight. The front desk staff is fantastic—Jonathan was incredibly welcoming and made my move-in process smooth and stress-free when I picked up my keys. The location is super convenient, with a grocery store just around the corner and the train station within walking distance. I haven’t had the chance to explore all the amenities yet, but I’ll be sure to update once I do. For the price, considering all the amenities and conveniences, this apartment is a fantastic deal. While the area can feel a little sketchy at night, especially as a woman, I feel overall very happy with my choice.

We love living here in One East Harlem and we can recommend it. The staff is beyond amazing and the facility is beautiful. We love the layout of our apartment and visitors always comment on the views, the large size, and the nice quality. When we have needed things fixed, the response time has usually been quite good. The neighbors are good as well. The proximity to the 4,5, and 6 at 125th is so convenience and nothing can beat the easy M60 to LaGuardia!!

I have lived in this building for over a year now. Everything was perfect in the beginning, but as time went on and more people moved in, I saw some deterioration in the quality of the building maintenance. Overall, the staff here are very friendly, but there are a number of problematic tenants violating rules such as smoking cannabis and making noise after hours. As far as recommendations go, I think that would depend on one's financial situation, location of workplace, and their comfortability with living in this neighborhood. For some, this will be a decent place to live, but for others, it could be a 'must avoid' apartment building.
