Really nice value in a great neighborhood is unfortunately compromised by frequent noise from an outdoor café/wine bar at the rear of the building, which is situated directly below the living room, coupled with cursory and dismissive treatment by management. I have tried to negotiate the noise problem with the rental office, which was met with inhospitable response, as were requests for improvements in household amenities such as lack of kitchen storage cabinets, and inadequate winter heating.

I have enjoyed the neighborhood location and quality of the apartment itself. When our oven broke, it took a few rounds of visits, but was eventually taken and reinstalled. We have gotten good help when we've reached out to Eberhart or maintenance. The high ceilings and windows make the biggest difference in making the apartment feel bigger.

The place is very comfortable and convenient in this cube neighborhood close to the Metropolitan Museum. Great transportation, including the New Q subway right around the corner. I've only one drawback to mention. Good and respectful neighbors throughout the building, except the café on the ground floor which has an outdoor terrace area with half a dozen tables just below my living room, at the rear of the building. In the evenings and on the weekends, it's often populated with people who enjoy themselves as you'd expect as they drink coffee and cocktails. Unfortunately, this makes it so that sometimes it sounds like a brunch or happy hour gathering of cheerful strangers right in my living room.

The community in the building is very polite and helpful to each other. I have had great help from staff when I have had various issues in the apartment. The only section I would see a lower rating in would be amenities-if there was ever a way to put laundry in the building that would make a huge impact.

Apartment is nice. Good location. Sometimes leasing office can be hard to get ahold of or helpful but overall would recommend
