Piss poor maintenance
Over their course of the past week my apartment began smelling of sewage and mildew. The basement doors(there’s two) were open and unlocked. I discovered that the basement sub pump does not work and is submerged under black sewage/water, the septic is shot and there’s human feces on the floor of the basement. (We have photos) There’s pools of sewage and multiple loose wires soaking in it. Pigtails are not in place for surge protection and extension cords are running through sewage. Breaker panel covers are not in place and exposed breakers/circuits:wiring are covered in rust and mildew. Multiple areas have mold growing. I took photos and video footage and have since contacted code enforcement for follow up. The maintenance team will close out tickets as completed without doing the work. I have cameras in my apartment so I do know they never came in to fix the bathroom ceiling. The property manager on-site is negligent and inexperienced. Hopefully the building doesn’t sub come to an electrical fire before code enforcement gets there and again I have photos and videos if there’s any follow up needed regarding this. If maintenance continues hiding these issues from tenants and denying there’s any issue that we’re delusional regarding these issues then we’ll have no choice but to seek legal action.
Love living here!
This is a great place to live especially if you have a furry friend. We got a puppy while living here and he has ample space to play around outside and the deck is a nice feature for when he is getting stir crazy in the house and just wants to see what's going on. The neighbors have also been very friendly which is nice during trying times. Only reasons I didn't give this place 5 stars is the visitor parking area is 4 spots which would be fine if residents didn't also park in those spaces because it is closest to their apartment... I would really like some more guest parking spaces perhaps throughout the parking areas. The amenities available are also awesome, don't love paying for laundry but that is my only complaint there.
