Going down hill since 2020

When I first got here before the pandemic, things were good... since then everything has gone the wrong direction. Rent way up, maintanence way down, new people moving into the community are sketchy at best, no one even cares for the property any more it feels like. Also, those new lights you put in, is 3 feet from my place, does nothing but shines right thru two windows.... I won't be renewing my lease in October if I can afford to get a house, which is a disaster right now as well.

Nice, but kind of let down

The location is great and the area feels safe. I was excited to live in this area again as I have always enjoyed it. The best sushi is across the street and I discovered the Skyline Kitchen which is pretty awesome. The Ditch Trail is an awesome feature of the area. The staff is really friendly here. They are quick to resolve issues of maintenance. However, we've had a lot of maintenance issues since moving in. We loved the French doors moving in but discovered quickly that they were not weatherproof, with paper-thin windows through our apartment as well we have been shoveling out tons of money in heating costs. Not to mention our heater, set at 88 degrees feels like 65-70. We recently discovered with turning on the heater that there is a strong pet feces odor from the previous tenant. There are a ton of hidden fees including a very large utility bill of water, sewer, and trash that averages $120-$150. Plus you have to pay a fee just for paying the bill through an outside vendor every month. I have had a tremendous struggle with their payment website and although I tried to pay my rent early every month when I switched to trying to pay online I had issues with the site and although the site said I paid, they didn't receive my payment. They fined me $85 because of their website error although I was early before they had no desire to give me a break. The parking is an abomination and another added fee. They charge you $15 to have a designated parking space which you need to have unless you want to park a mile from your house up the road. Forget having guests at your place unless you want to have them park up the road. They claimed to have their upper pool functional and the landscaping finished around the property, but it is a hot mess. Overall, after discovering their lack of mercy for a failed attempt to use their frustrating system, I do not plan on renewing my lease.

Nice place to live

I enjoy living here. The new company taking over is responsive and kind. The neighbors are respectful, and it's a wonderful neighborhood. They're very prompt when it comes to addressing maintenance requests
