Aside from the office manager, who is abrasive, obtuse and couldn’t care less about the residents here, the maintenance person and the woman who takes excellent care

Ive been a resident of Bayshore Village for 7 years and have been quite happy living here. I am not at all happy with the parking situation, especially during late autumn through mid-spring. Having to park way in the back of the parking lot and not being able to enter any other entrance but the main entrance is quite difficult, especially during inclement weather! Additionally, the Office Manager leaves MUCH to be desired! She does NOT know how to communicate with others positively.

Since the departure of Raymond and Cheryl, I have noticed many changes…definitely NOT for the better. The majority of residents at Bayshore Village are disabled. Removing the bench from the entrance makes no sense to me, as there is nowhere for the disabled residents to wait for the SCAT bus, medical transport or a ride in general. Although I don’t participate, Ive often noticed that some residents frequently gather in the room off the lobby to socialize. As I am leaving or entering the building Ive often heard the new office manager raising her voice and admonishing the residents for talking too loudly and telling them to disperse. Again, many of these aforementioned residents are completely alone and are in despair need of socialization! Additionally I wonder why it is necessary for Carlos to be in the office, behind a desk and using the computer at all??? While walking from the elevator one day I literally saw Carlos cough up a mucus plug and aim it at a neighbors door…SERIOUSLY??? The floors, the hallway handrails and the refuse rooms have not been cleaned since Raymond’s departure….residents have brought this to Carlos’s attention, and I’ve overheard him saying “I don’t clean!” Again, SERIOUSLY??? Isn’t cleaning included in his job description? I could continue my review but I’ve been told by other residents that these questions have been brought to the attention of the property owners and they have done nothing to remediate the situation…so what is the point of this review????
