Urban Luxury

I've lived here for about four months. The best features of the building are the gym and the parking deck. The gym is about the equivalent of Blink fitness--state of the art treadmills, stair masters, cycling bikes and free weights. If you have a planet fitness membership, definitely cancel it. The apartments also come with amazing appliances, washer/dryer, great fridge with icemaker, dishwasher and P-tec air units that heat and cool wonderfully. The downside isn't the apartment at all, but the location. Orange NJ is a commuter town--essentially, there is no downtown that worth visiting because the stores aren't great. Luckily, West Orange and South Orange is about 5 minutes and 12 minutes away, respectively, and has tons to offer. The great thing about this is that you get the high quality yet lower priced apartment in Orange, but the closeness of other places. This is great because an apartment like this in West Orange and South Orange is way more pricey.

Overall a good place to live

Despite some of the issues I've encountered while living here, overall the amenities are great and well kept, someone is always reachable, maintenance responds fairly quickly, and the management is fairly involved in resolving any issues you may have. The community here is great too, everyone is nice and respectful and mostly quiet. My apartment personally has experienced several water leaks (in the a bathroom, in the kitchen, above my laundry unit, and now also near my window) which are all results of poor construction. However, the maintenance and leasing has made efforts to get these issues fixed.
