Most tenets are not use to living with others and if not supervised will live as if they are permitted to do any things. Smoking in shared spaces as hallways are now used as dog parks and smoking areas. Tenets are stealing others mail. Tenets are using the hallways as their own personal space to store their trash, shoes, and household items.. Smoking remain to be a major problem .

Smoking in the building is at a all time new high. Smoking in common areas should be controlled for safety matters. Most apartments are poorly sealed / insulated you can smell cigar, cigarette, and drug use from other apartments. Smoking should not be permitted in the building at all. When I first got my lease, that was a part of the agreement. My neighbors both below, above, and next to me are all heavy smokers. Who is enforcing the lease agreement?

My air condition ducts have not been clean or inspected in over 12 years. That is a serious Issue for anyone with allergies. The same things are true of the carpet that’s in both my bedrooms. Heat lost is around every window and along the floor boards below the windows. We should get new filters for the stove and air system but that does not happen either. My Cpap machine is my salvation.

I’ve been living in Laferarra Properties for almost 10 yrs and they have been pretty good.

After Ten Years, nothing much has changed. Because there is no insulation in the walls and no storm windows, the bedrooms are to cold to sleep in. The living room / kitchen area is where I'm forced to sleep in the winter. The living room / kitchen area faces a brick wall. Every year I have to wrap the windows with plastic to try to keep heat in this apartment, out of pocket. This apartment only had primer on the walls when I moved in and no paint has been put on them. The bathroom should of been tile in the shower area and the sink should of been next to the wall where trim is, but that's the kind of workmanship you get here. Also the rent when up every year.
