Elevator frequently have issues, plumbing issues, and carpet in hallway has stains. Ceiling and water leaks that was left damaged until health department came out. Was advised by management to move out rather than fix repairs. Was also told the issue would persist so there was no need to have ceiling fixed. However since it was fixed everything seemed to have been resolved. For the price customer service and attention to repairs could be much better.

In my opinion for the amount it costs to live at The Grand I would think plumbing issues with the toilet would be kept more up to date. No one has tried to investigate the issue to avoid further problems even at at my request. The issue just keeps getting passed around to the next representative who advises they dont handle maintenance related inquiries. Also, I had company over and was told they should fix the appearance of the doors because of the wood chipping. A resident told me the jacuzzi does not work and has not been working for years. The netflix account for the theater also does not work. I’ve been wanting to stay at this property for years and know that all of these arising problems keep happening is disappointing. I think the toilet issues is the absolute worse because I pay over $200 month for water and cant barely use the bathroom because of the clogs that could eventually lead to health issues. I just wnated to experience living at an property with nice views and amenities before buying a house. I do like the view of the skyline of Philadelphia and nature of trees though.

I understand forced air conditioning efficient. But there are times, the apartment management doesn’t adjust the heat and cold temperatures according to the current weather.I was told to leave the windows open if it’s hot. If it’s cold I was told to use space heater. That’s the only inconvenience I experienced.

So, far I have been living here for almost 1 month. Its been ok as far as location, parking, and noise level. The staff are so far pretty nice. However, theres been some issues with the maintenance of my apartment. When I first moved in and was cleaning, the washer door was broken, bathroom sink had brown dirt, and bathroom vanity was coming apart. I was glad that by contacting the lease office, they were able to help and get it quickly resolved. Then, one week later the dryer stopped getting hot and was cutting off at 10 minutes. Unfortunately, it is still not fixed so I am hoping it will be fixed soon especially since I am paying rent for this amenity.
