Noise , expensive, noise and cheap materials used when building ….. ohh and noise

I really love my apartment. So far maintenance has been really good and responsive. I just sold my house, and this apartment has just enough room, so that I don't missing living in a house. The only thing I miss is the size of my kitchen, and I do have more storage space. I knew what the rent was when I decided to move in, but the little extras add up. I think there should be more transparency when talking about rent. The apartment itself is beautiful at first glance. However, once you start living there, it's obvious where the corners were cut. It says luxury living, but the windows are cheap and let in a ton of noise, so there's no opening my windows on a nice night. The carpet is so cheap after a year it's already matting, and I vacuum all the time. There were dings in my walls when I moved in. Paint drips all over the carpet. Gray paint, so it's hard to see at first. Paint on the ceilings and splatter all over the floors. The finishes were done haphazardly, the appliances are obviously low end, and if I dare use my air fryer, it trips a breaker every time, regardless of which outlet I use. There's a limit to dog size and barking, but there's a guy with 2 big German Shepherds in our building. These dogs have lunged at my dog when coming out of the elevator, bark CONSTANTLY out of their always-open windows scaring my dog and people walking by. There are so many piles of dog poo just left with no consequences. I was told to either throw it away or bring it to the office, so they can check the DNA. I gag when picking up after my own dog, so I will not pick up after someone else. I took my dog out last night, and there was a huge pile on the green area, and I'm sure it's still there today. Someone needs to be responsible for random checks, even in the "dog park." The door to the garage isn't locked, so anyone can walk in and hide. The door on the north side by Just Popped still isn't working and useable. Luxury is a word that should be used more wisely.

I have currently lived here for almost 3 months and truly love it here. It is a beautiful community with a really nice living experience. You get what you pay for here, and the units are beautiful and I haven’t had any issues worth noting. I can’t speak for other buildings, but they do regular cleanings in our building so it always looks and smells nice. Parking has been a breeze, the lots are level and don’t have pot holes. The units closer to 96th or Giles rd definitely have noise but I don’t mind, other units don’t face the street and seem very quiet so that is up to the renter. Overall no complaints! Maintenance is urgent and very respectful!
