Safe Place

I've lived in several apartments across the US, and The Flats have felt the safest out of all of them. In general, the grounds are taken care of very well and so are the shared spaces. I like that residents are required to and actually do clean up after their pets. There are a lot of areas where is patchy grass, which I think is a dog urine issue. So, there's not a whole lot to do there. Also, there are random days were there's a lot of litter everywhere. I'm not sure if it is the wind or if people are dropping stuff and not picking it back up. The gym has a surprised amount of weightlifting options. However, if you are a serious weightlifter/bodybuilder, you will need to find a supplemental gym most likely. The staff have always been incredibly kind and helpful. I appreciate how welcoming they are. SCC is right across the road, which is convenient for students. However, there's a lack of sidewalks so that residents can walk or cycle to town. It would be nice to have places to walk. Sure, the neighborhood that is being built is nice. I hope that Lincoln actually connects one of the trails to that neighborhood.

Very pet friendly, safe place to get mail in locked mailbox, safe place for pkg delivery, maintenance requests are completed timely, underground parking & dog washing station a plus if you can afford it. As rent keeps going up, i had to give up my underground pkg, that also increased. They may price me out at some point??

Love this place!

I moved here about 2 months ago and I have absolutely loved it. The apartment complex is quiet, right across from a Caseys, and has great amenities. My dog also appreciates the quiet and a great dog park to get some energy out. My apartment is spacious and well kept. Maintenance is timely and respectful. I couldn't recommend this place enough!
