Decent place to live, though the rent increases with no improvement to current living is questionable and worrying.

I recently signed my 16th lease with Holmes Lake Apartments because I am safe, I have excellent support from the office and maintenance staffs, management keeps the property in good repair, the campus is pretty and well maintained, and my mail is in the lobby and my car is secure in the basement. We are close (within 1 mile) to many businesses I use, including medical, banking, pharmacy, insurance, gas stations and groceries.

I have lived here 1 & 1/2 years. I love my apartment, although it's had it's issues due to age. The maintenance guys, Tom & Ty are wonderful. The office manager, Sam is condescending & not well liked here by many of the residents. Our elevator has been down since Nov. 11 & living on 3rd floor has been a challenge due to health issues. I have had to stay elsewhere at times. This has also made for extra expenses such as grocery deliveries, extra Dr visits & having to take 2 weeks off work due to a spine injury that prevented me from taking the stairs. Several others are seeking a new place to live as at this time as they are "trapped" in their own apartments. We have asked about a rent adjustment but get no answers.

We have nothing but great things to say about Holmes Lake by Broadmoor. Everyone here is so friendly -- staff and residents, both. The property is clean, quiet, and in the perfect location for easily getting out and enjoying everything Lincoln has to offer!
