Living here has been ideal for me. Realistically, I understand why some other people would have issues, but I find that for my standards and expectations, Exchange at Westgate has been perfect for my needs. The staff doesn't seem to be necessarily on top of things, but I know that they are trying, and they are always friendly. I've never ran an apartment complex so I'm going to give them a little grace. I think the only real complaint that I've personally found is that people are constantly driving through the complex faster than they should be. It's not even fair to blame the complex for this, people should just actually consider that if a child does exactly what children do, and acts unpredictably by running into the street, then several people's lives will be altered forever all because you couldn't drive a bit slower. That all said, I think it's up to the complex to just put in speed bumps at this point, which is a bummer but I think people have proven that they lack the critical thinking skill to be trusted with such a luxury. Other than that, maintenance responds to every ticket very quickly, and the pool/mail room/package lockers haven't caused an issue for me. I have friends who have actually rented here because I've recommended it. I think it is a very good option that suits my needs.

They only Maintenance concern that I have is all of the dog Waste that is never picked up by owners and the entire field next to building 5253 is covered and I can’t take my dog for a walk

Needs more parking, stricter rules on people who have multiple vehicles and bikes and friends over ends up having no parking left. New tenants who have parties after 8pm and smoke week and make loud noise are an irritant. For the price i would expect more from the staff here to make it worth it i feel like im in downtown wilmington at times

I have lived here for only 3months and I really like living here. I only have one complaint and it's regarding the valet trash. There should be an option to choose Valet or dispose on your own. We pay for trash pickup, but they won't take all of your trash, so you still have to go to the compactor. Valet does not take boxes anymore, when I first moved in, they did. So, if I have to walk to dispose of my boxes and any other large items or another garbage bag (since they only pick up one bag Mon-Thur and Sunday) I can just take 4 bags down as well and save on paying for "garbage pickup" If the valet trash was convenient it wouldn't be a problem but at this point it's not. That is my only concern living here. otherwise, the staff is great, the location is great the amenities are great overall a great place to live. I also feel safe leaving my apartment whether it's 2pm or 2am the place is well lit. overall 9 out of 10 - one point taken off for the valet trash
