I really enjoy living here. The staff is fabulous, the amenities are great, and my unit is perfect for me. It's clean, modern, and a great place to be if you want to live in the city but not quite downtown. NKC is, for the most part, quaint and quiet - aside from Friday, Saturday, and sometimes Thursday nights. There are lots of bars/breweries/restaurants nearby, so I've heard quite a bit of noise outside while living here. It doesn't bother me too much, but it may bother others. The 9th floor is my favorite thing to show off when I have guests. I have not yet been able to get to the pool, but I'm really looking forward to it this summer. The only other qualm I have is that Amazon drivers are supposed to have a key to the secure mailroom, but they often cannot get inside the lobby door or the mailroom door, so packages are left out in the open.

I moved into the Oxbow at the end of July. I truly have nothing but good things to say about the apartment and staff. Some things that I appreciate about living here are as follows. 1. It's safe- I have never worried about car break-ins or apartment break-ins. In general, the building is incredibly secure. We use a fob for everything and we have to scan in and out of the elevators. 2. Maintenance is quick!- My washer and dryer broke one weekend and it was fixed by Monday! 3. The staff is very nice and always willing to help- I love chatting with the staff or going to resident events. The staff is always very accommodating and will fix any problem you have. 4. The amenities- The amenities truly encompass a home away from home. If you never want to leave, you don't have to! There is a pool (it could be a little cleaner), hammocks, a business center, our very own pub, seating sections, yard games, bbq and a view of North Kansas City! 5. Proximity- The location is right next to Chicken and Pickle and across from Cinder Block Brewery. There are a lot of great places for entertainment around and they are in walking distance from your apartment. 6. Resident culture and events- The staff here does an awesome job of putting together resident events and making people feel welcome. 7. The apartment- my apartment is incredibly spacious. While, it is pricy. I feel like it's worth it given the amount of space I get. It would be nice to have sound proofing in the rooms however. Overall, my dog and I are very happy here! Although, the units are pricy, I do feel like it's only a few hundred dollars more than what you would pay in downtown KC. For the amenities, safety and community, its worth it for me. Lastly, this is a place for someone that is okay with a little noise. Make sure you get an apartment that is facing away from the entertainment otherwise you will hear the famous Paul and Jacks!

The Oxbow looks really nice because its brand new but there are a lot of things falling apart just 6 months into opening. They built this so fast and with little quality. Its definitely overpriced for what you get. The rooftop pool is nice but can turn into a "spring break" vibe on the weekends. Surrounding bars have live outside music in the summer that penetrates into the apartment and its impossible to fall asleep until its over. The staff is nice and Alexis really goes above and beyond to make everyone is happy as possible.

The Oxbow is an amazing place to live! The amenities are amazing, the staff is super friendly and always wanting to make sure you are satisfied, the maintenance staff is always fixing any issues really quickly. The only pitfall is the parking situation. If you don't pay for a garage spot, good luck parking your vehicle anywhere that is legal. If you park behind the building in the huge lot, you cannot park there from 3am-6am or you will get a ticket. If the parking situation could get resolved this place would be GREAT!!!
