My roommates and I need some sort of rent credit or reimbursement of which I received an email back saying it wasn't possible with the lease- though that is false because under MN law, tenants have the right to a habitable environment and have the unit be reasonably maintained AND that such maintenance concerns are to be addressed within 14 days (AND even sooner than 14 days if it is a safety or health concern). Throughout this process, we kept receiving email after email that our carpet concern wasn't required to be addressed under the lease- of which, I disagree in accordance with MN law. We wouldn't have cared if it was just a couple of small places, but it was almost all- if not all- of the rooms with carpets. My roommates and I payed to live in the unit, but we couldn't live there. I was HOMELESS for 13 days while ALSO paying rent. I need some sort of rent credit from this to rectify the issue. My roommates and I were unable to move in and live in the unit until one month and 2 days after the official move-in date while we were also paying for those 33 days. I notified the team about the issue a day after receiving my key. Our concerns were downplayed. Almost all (if not all) of the rooms with carpet had pet urine in the carpet, so the sheer amount of it raises health and hygiene concerns. I found several large urine stains with a black light and spent at least $150 of my own money to try to fix the problem myself when their deodorizing wasn't adequate to remove the urine. I could smell the ammonia, which is toxic and poisonous, and I also have ASTHMA. Additionally, leaving the urine there could have resulted in dangerous mold, germs and other microscopic organisms, and then the additional cost of replacing the subfloor.

The location is good and the neighbors are polite the property grounds could be better taken care of there sometimes alot of trash and trash that ain't mine will end up in my yard. Maintenence is another issue jobs are left unfinished

Only been living here for a few months, it has been great besides some neighbor noises. From move in to maintenance everything has been good! Occasionally, next door neighbors will blast music or what i think is them creating music; which I love go for your dreams! The only thing I do not like is when the music is so loud that I can't even hear my television or that things on our stairway walls move and you can feel the base/beats on the stairs. Other than that everything else has been a great experience!
