I’ve lived at Marquee since August 2020. — The building and units are pretty nice! The kitchens are amazing-dishwasher, soft close cabinets, pull out trash, white marble counters(I can’t remember what they are made of but you can set a hot pan on it with no issues), most units have these huge kitchen islands too. Plus, washer and dryer, multiple closets, etc. — The pool/hot tub, gym, fire places, game areas, community rooms-are all upscale, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. — There is a secure package room, with Luxor One. I’ve never had issues with any of my mail or packages being tampered with (I’ve heard horror stories from other buildings in Minneapolis). — Front door uses Butterfly software, for entry management. I can open the front door with one click from my phone, while viewing live footage of the person at the door. — You can hear some noise from the louder neighbors, when they are in the hallways, or from above, but it’s fairly reasonable (put on a fan and you’ll hardly hear it, if at all). The area supposably isn’t very safe but you are kind of in a little bubble inside the building, especially if you utilize the underground parking(EV charging spots too, huge plus if you drive a Tesla/EV). — Also, there is 24/7 building security. At least one person on duty/at the front desk, all who are very nice and approachable! Which is comforting, not just for major issues but also if you have a question or have something dropped off, etc. The current manager, Tom, is incredibly nice and accommodating-couldn’t ask for a better manager, honestly. I’ve also had interactions with others on the management team, Rob and Alexis, who both also seem like genuine, good, people. They appear to put a lot of time and effort into their jobs, which I respect and appreciate. The rent is a little bit high and because of that, I will be moving out, once my lease is done. If I could afford a 2 bedroom at Marquee and/or they were cheaper, I wouldn’t leave anytime soon.
