Maintenance lacks severely, not allowed overnight guests/ house guests very long without wanting you to put them though the process of going in the lease i understand that with section 8 there are a little different rules for renters but only having any guests for up to 2 weeks a yr without putting them through the process of trying to get added to lease then your section 8 voucher because you want a guest to stay 16 days instead of 14 on your yearly lease is pretty messed up. We are still adults who are paying our rent we should be treated like any other renter at any other property not told like little children how many days we're allow a house guest or they have to leave, be put on lease then that guest will also be responsible to pay the same mthly amount for rent meaning your rent then doubles or if you don't and go against the rule you'll then be faced with possibly eviction for not following rules and can lose your voucher. Just because I'm poor & I need help with my living expenses doesn't mean I'm an incompetent person who needs to be pulled what to do like how old and controlled I've seen plenty of other rental communities that are income based they may not take the voucher but they are income based or participate in other programs that help tenants & I have never heard of those communities placing rules like this on their tenants nor treating them like children that need to be told what to do and who can come in your home and how long you can have them there all while you're paying for your rental like everybody else in the world so why should it be any different like I said just because a person needs a hand up & getting help to support themselves does not make them and incompetent child that needs to be controlled until what to do and how to live in their own house hold that they are paying for. That's absurd and the state and these section 8 properties need to reevaluate themselves and the rules they place upon their renters. It goes against our rights

As far as housing communities their apts are efficient the only downside apts below townhouse size have no central AC it has a 1 wall unit in the living room area but come summer it doesn't cool the whole unit that efficiently. You'll need an alt for the bedroom area to keep cool. There's only 1 maintenance man, they have a hard time keeping workers so getting any maintenance done is left to chance & can take mths putting in requests & when he does come in its left to chance if anything gets fix. The pest control service that's monthly if very questionable if the techn is evening doing his job spraying your unit, the tech is in & out of each unit in less then 5 mins. I've only seen evidence of my unit being sprayed once 2 yrs ago when I 1st moved in. There is only 1 office personnel the office manager that runs the entire property & all units so she is always busy & needs alot of reminders if you need anything from the office end. They are definitely on top of watching the tenants in each unit, who comes, goes and what is happening in & on the property. They definitely enforce the rules & will catch anyone breaking the rules then will write you a tenant violation with no exceptions no excuse policy from any of their tenants. Their giving out pretty much over anything. The units themselves are pretty basic but nice. They have newer basic model appliances but no washer & dryer hookups in unit neither. They have laundry rooms in each building but the machines are outsourced from outside company so if they are broken or need maintenance you have to take initiative of calling yourself to report the machines issue to the issuing company that provides & that takes forever if they ever do come out to fix them. Each laundry room has two older laundromat style washers and two older laundromat stackable dryers all are tiny in size & are in need of a desperate upgrade. Also in the rooms are extra storage spaces for tenants but they need to provide the lock.Property is quite.
