City Modern 2665 Brush Street LLC

I've lived here for about 1.5 years. It is in a nice area with fun businesses around. I live on the lower floors so sometimes privacy is an issue. Otherwise, I like the location and appreciate the events that management puts on for their tenants.

Good amenities. Kind of pricey, good location

These apartments are pretty nice. They're new, mine gets a lot of light, and they have good appliances. I can hear my neighbors from time to time, but the walls aren't paper-thin. The location is great - near the big venues and downtown, and you can bike to Wayne State entirely on protected bike lanes and/or low traffic streets. If you have to be car-less in Detroit, this is a good place to live. The gym is very nice, and there is a nicely landscaped courtyard and a rooftop that I enjoy hanging out on. All in all, I like living here. Cons: It can be noisy with events around, but that's just how it is living close to everything (this is only a con based on personal preference). Parking is handled by an outside company and is extremely expensive - I was told it starts at $165 a month. You can make street parking work, but you need to be mindful of event times at the surrounding arenas and venues. This works if you don't use your car daily, but you might want reserved parking if you do.
