Lakeside Village Apartments

After being a resident of almost 6 years I would not recommend this apt complex. I do have to say when we moved in the place they had a security guard, maintenance was really good, rent wasn't increased for 3 years and overall the place was ok. The price of the an apartment with 20 yo furnishes went up almost 500 this past yr if you didn't sign a 14mo lease. Last 3 yrs, change of management, place went downhill. They have a huge problem with the exterior doors. They were rarely in working order and busted, mostly. Never any resolution..how about putting cameras up to see who is busting them open? We have experienced bug infestations, a/c issues a couple times (from above unit that dripped into our apt unit) and the smell of mold was horrid. We couldn't use the linen closet and part of the primary closet because our clothes/towels smelled like mildew. Couldn't turn a/c on for over a week in JULY. The a/c units need to maintained or replaced as our average bill was $220-240 for electricity in the summer with the air set at 75 degrees. The a/c units work harder because they are very old, so be aware your electricity bills will be very high, if you use air, in the summertime. We made many service requests to fix this and they blew us off. The worst part was the 20yo old stackable washer/dryer that leaked and damaged our apt floor (we were charged for carpet replacement because of this and we shouldn't have) and the downstairs apt had water damage too. The area that flooded was never cleaned up, they said they would send a carpet cleaner out and never did. One of the many promises. The kicker is that they charged us $770 at move out to replace an area of carpet that was damaged by the flooding of the washer/dryer. FOLLOW UP: They stole my security deposit. This company is criminal.

I am divorced and I’m on a fixed income and looking for a place to live, I have been all over Macomb and I have not been impressed or have been taken seriously as I have by Bree Powers at Lakeside Village. I have been approved and I am on the waiting list, after all of Bree’s help I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. She explained everything thoroughly and was very professional as well as compassionate and understanding. I am looking forward into joining the Lakeside community and I am forever grateful to Bree for all her help.

I lived at Lakeside Village Apartments with My Parents for 6 years and I absolutely LOVED it...the Maintenance is Wonderful, especially Jason because when you need him he is ALWAYS there for you and will help you ASAP. The Guys and Girls in the Office were wonderful, I have not ONE complaint. The apartment that we lived in at 15435 was such a beautiful and cozy apartment and we had so much room in the Rooms, Living Rooms, Bathrooms, and the Kitchen. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an apartment, that would be with you guys! :-)

This is home to me. I love it here-after selling my house 4 yrs ago, I really wanted to find an apartment that felt like I was living in a home setting..and I found it here at Lakeside Village seriously guys! It is a high spacious apt, lots of storage space, has a large balcony and apt has a washer and dryer... there are 2 pools ...has a mini fitness center with sauna..Wow!!! Really..Anyway the staff is very friendly and most important is if anything need fixing or you are having a problem in the apartment or fixtures they are very prompt in fixing things when you put In your request. In my opinion This is the best place to live in Clinton Twp..It is a good community to live in and the school system is blue ribbon good- What more can you ask for?..... It feels like Home to me.
