Needs better communication
It's very frustrating to come home and have maintenance people in my house when I didn't expect them to be there - I don't see emails right away when I'm in class, and even the emails don't tell me when there will be people in my apartment, just that they will be there that day. It feels like the least you could do to call me or text me when you show up at my apartment and I'm not there, so that I'm not caught off guard and concerned when I come home to my door unlocked with voices in another room. Similarly, when I submit a maintenance request, I am not notified of the day that maintenance is going to be over much less the time that they will be over. This is especially frustrating when there's an issue that has nuance or background information and I can't provide it to them or point it out to them in person if I'm not home and I don't even know if they're showing up.
