I’ve lived here for 3 years no with little complaints! It’s an old building so more often repairs and maintence needs to be done, but Port Property does a fantastic job of doing so. Newer/cleaner washing machines would be nice!

Rents are reasonable, staff are kind, buildings are in decent condition though could use some updating. Overall one of the best landlords I've ever worked with!

Perfect location right in downtown. Noise is not great though and don't expect a perfectly well maintained building. Definitely haunted but in a fun way.

From the second i moved into the apartment I was thrilled. Its beautiful, spacious, clean and thry even put together a little welcome basket with items youd never think of (toilet paper, toothbrush etc). The neighbors are lovely, its quiet and repairs (if needed) are done fast!

In September 2013, Portland magazine published an article on the Morocco Lounge, which was located in the lobby of the former Wadsworth Hotel. You can see two old pictures of 30 Preble Street on The Maine Historical Society website: one circa 1907, and another circa 1912 showing the Flaherty & McCabe furniture...

You can see two old pictures of 30 Preble Street on The Maine Historical Society website: one circa 1907, and another circa 1912 showing the Flaherty & McCabe furniture store occupying the space where you will find Dutch’s today.The apartments today are a mix of small to large studios, small to large one bedrooms, and two bedrooms. Rents include heat, hot water, electric, water/sewer and cooking gas (where applicable). Residents have access to coin-op laundry and trash/recycling removal. Almost all of the apartments have hardwood floors, soaring high ceilings and large windows.
