Great Apartment
Lenox Park has a wonderful staff that keeps the premises clean and functional.
Great Community
I've lived here for two years now. I loved that it was an older building and the apartments have character. The maintenance team is spot on: quick and efficient. Even on a Sunday, I've had assistance in my apartment. The people in the building are great. I've made fantastic friends. The front desk staff is the best. You can actually spend time just chatting with the concierge. They're fun, helpful, and genuinely kind. I don't have the best things to say about Management. Things change without explanation. It's sometimes hard to get help when you need it. They aren't bad, but they don't feel tenant-focused either. All in all, it doesn't really affect the day-to-day. You can happily live here without having to engage with them. But if you ever have to engage, it's not pleasant. The absolute worst thing about here is parking. Note, I don't have a car, but I rent a car from time to time. There's no discount for being a resident. There's no guest parking. Everyone pays the normal parking fees, which are the most expensive in the area. There's very little street parking, so if you have a visitor, they have to fork over $8-$14 just to come say hi. Given that all the other apartments have daily parking for visitors (between $5 and $10), this is a huge bother. I've generally enjoyed my time here. The apartments are all renovated. The pool area is lovely to hang out, and the doggie park is great to just sit and enjoy. Plus you can't beat your proximity to DC, the metro, 16th street, all the buses etc. Convenient and affordable.
