The Blairs offers comfortable living at an affordable price and it's proximity to the Silver Spring metro + downtown Silver Spring makes it appealing. I've enjoyed living here for 5 years and I think most people would, too. However, don't be fooled by the laundry list of "amenities." The amenities include a lounge that costs an arm and leg to reserve although it's always empty, a fireplace that hasn't work since I moved here, no pool, and events that run out of food with dozens of people still left in line. If you are looking for general comfort in a good place without the bells and whistles, the Blairs is right for you. (And assuming you can tolerate the several fire alarms + building projects every year.) But there may be others looking for a level of "luxury" who might be better suited elsewhere.

HI I have lived here for 4 years. Staff are generally nice and the noise level is good. No sounds of loud music etc. Generally the common areas stay clean. I work from home so peace and quiet is very important to me.

I have been living here for the past 9 months now and I am loving my experience here. This apartment has the best location. You have metro nearby, starbucks, grocery store, taco place, pizza, nail salon and CVS. The staff is also friendly and very helpful. This place is clean and well maintained.

I signed up for an 18-month lease, and it has been well worth the investment to have an apartment big enough to live in and also provide a home office. Amenities are excellent, as is the closeness to grocery stories and pharmacies, with many restaurants and entertainment options. Not the cheapest but worth the premium for all the conveniences, including easy Metro access.
